Establishing a contained and confidential space of exploration and insight, where challenging experiences, behaviours, emotions and situations can be addressed with compassion and steps can be taken towards resolving or minimizing negative experiences. This clears a path for self-awareness, authentic communication, relief, empowerment and enjoyment of life.

Natashia is the lead psychotherapist and creator of Being-There. Her approach to therapy is relational, person-centered and embodied. She believes one’s relationships to others and their own Self is key to how they approach and experience life. Natashia offers compassionate, trauma-sensitive and evidence-based strategies to meet clients where they’re at and move towards relief, integration, effective stress-management, and fulfillment. Some examples of what Natashia offers include, but are not limited to: mindfulness-based stress reduction, parts-work, body-centered techniques, nonjudgmental psychodynamic talk-therapy, CBT, and yoga-integration (as applicable).

Natashia is also engaged as a researcher currently focused on embodiment philosophy, resilience, and the link between healing trauma and the nervous system.
